Download an available Pinterest video as MP4
The video downloader looks for direct MP4 files on a public Pinterest Pin. Paste the link to the video Pin, choose Find downloads, and select an available file. When Pinterest supplies dimensions, the result shows them so you can compare the listed versions.
A video Pin can also have a cover image. This page filters for videos, so an image result is not presented as a successful MP4 download. If you only need the cover or another still picture, use the Pinterest image downloader.
pintload does not re-encode the supplied MP4, add a watermark, or remove marks already in the clip. Downloading preserves what the source file contains; it does not generate a higher-quality master.
MP4 file vs HLS playlist vs external video
An MP4 is a video container that a browser can save as one file. An HLS playlist, often ending in .m3u8, refers to separate media segments. Saving the playlist alone does not save all of the moving picture and sound.
pintload currently handles direct MP4 files. It does not join HLS segments, convert streaming playlists or retrieve videos embedded from another service. For a Pin that leads to an external website, check that website’s permitted save option.

HD, 1080p and portrait video dimensions
Resolution describes a video’s pixel dimensions, but labels can be ambiguous for portrait clips. A file listed as 1080 × 1920 is portrait; 1920 × 1080 is landscape. Read the width and height together rather than assuming every “1080p” label describes the same shape.
Visible quality also depends on the original recording and compression. A higher-resolution file can still contain blurry motion or compression artifacts. pintload shows available information without inventing 4K versions or improving detail through upscaling.
If multiple files are listed, choose dimensions appropriate for your device and available storage. File size also depends on duration and bitrate, so resolution alone does not tell you how many megabytes the video will use. Each download is limited to 100 MB.
Save a Pinterest video on iPhone, Android or desktop
On iPhone or iPad, locate the saved MP4 through Safari’s Downloads list or the Files app. Open it and look for Share → Save Video if you want a copy in Photos. A browser download does not always appear in Photos automatically. Follow the iPhone video-saving steps if you cannot find it.
On Android, start with the browser’s Downloads list or the phone’s file manager. Open the file to check playback before looking for it in Gallery. The Android download guide covers storage and gallery issues.
On desktop, choose the download and check the destination in your browser. A tab that plays the clip may be a preview rather than a saved file. If necessary, use the media viewer’s download control or your browser’s save action.
Why a downloaded video has no sound or will not play
Check both the media player’s mute control and your device volume first. Then play the original Pin with sound enabled. If the original source is silent, a downloader cannot supply audio that was never present.
MP4 is a container, not a guarantee that every device supports the video and audio codecs inside it. If a complete file opens in one player but not another, player compatibility may be the issue. If the download stopped early, an incomplete file can also fail to play.
pintload passes through the source file and does not merge a separate audio track, convert codecs or repair damaged media. Check the video download troubleshooting guide before repeatedly retrying the same link.
Creator download settings and unavailable videos
Pinterest lets creators control downloads for certain full-screen video Pins. Check the Pin’s native download option first when it is available. Pinterest’s creator download settings explain the platform’s controls.
A public Pin does not guarantee that this tool can find a usable MP4. Login restrictions, changed source data, deleted Pins and temporary request limits can all prevent a result. The service does not accept account credentials or provide access to private boards.

How do I download a Pinterest video?
Copy the individual Pin’s link, paste it into the form above, and choose Find downloads. Select an available MP4 and check your browser’s Downloads list. Not every video Pin exposes a supported file.
Can I download Pinterest videos in HD or 1080p?
Only when a suitable source file is available. Dimensions are shown when Pinterest provides them. The tool does not upscale a low-resolution video or guarantee a specific resolution for every Pin.
Does this tool download 4K Pinterest videos?
There is no blanket 4K guarantee. A 4K source would need to be present and exposed as a supported direct file. Choose from the actual results instead of assuming a higher resolution exists.
Why does the video downloader find no MP4?
The Pin may contain a streaming playlist, an external embed, or an unavailable source. An image preview can still exist in those cases. Read about MP4 and streaming formats.
Can I convert an M3U8 playlist into MP4 here?
No. This tool does not fetch and join streaming segments. An M3U8 playlist is not a complete video file, and changing its filename to .mp4 does not convert it.
Will the downloaded video include sound?
The downloaded MP4 retains whatever tracks the source file contains. The tool does not generate missing sound or combine a separate audio track. Check whether the source Pin itself has audio.
Can I download only the audio as MP3?
No. pintload does not extract audio or convert MP4 to MP3. It offers supported video files as supplied by the source.
Does pintload remove the Pinterest watermark?
No. It adds no watermark of its own, but any creator or platform mark already embedded in the source remains. Obtain an authorized source from the creator if you need a different version.
Why is the MP4 in Files but not Photos on my iPhone?
The browser may save to Files. Open the completed file and look for Share → Save Video. If that option is unavailable, check playback and compatibility; the iPhone guide has more detail.
Why is a long video not downloading?
The source may exceed the 100 MB file limit, be streaming-only, or the connection may have failed. Duration alone does not determine file size. Check the error before trying again.
Can I download videos from a private Pinterest board?
No. The tool does not use your signed-in account and cannot access private Pins. It does not accept passwords or cookies to unlock them.
How can I save a video cover image instead?
Use the Pinterest image downloader to look for a supported still image. A downloaded cover does not contain the video’s motion or soundtrack.
